IT Helpdesk engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Helpdesk engineer to join our family office in Limassol, Cyprus. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks. Additionally, they will provide technical support and ensure the security of our systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of network equipment, operating systems, and security protocols.
Requirements:
-Experience in designing wired and roaming wireless WiFi networks for 50+ users.
-Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Ubiquiti and Mikrotik network equipment.
-In-depth knowledge of the OSI model, TCP/IP, IPsec, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, NAT, VPN, and SIP protocols and services.
-Experience with access control systems, video surveillance systems, and Ajax alarm systems.
-Ensuring redundancy for network equipment and critical communication channels, including configuration backup and recovery.
-Working with suppliers for procurement of office equipment and managing inventory.
-Assembly, modular repair, and upgrading of computer equipment.
-Proficiency in Windows and macOS at the administrator level.
-Experience in installing operating systems and restoring operations after critical failures.
-Installation and configuration of office software.
-At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within an IT company.
-Proficiency in Russian and English.
-Administration of Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities:
-Ensuring the operational security of systems across multiple locations, including access control systems, video surveillance, and Ajax alarm systems.
-Setting up and maintaining the corporate office network.
-Maintaining office computers and equipment.
-Procuring and managing inventory of IT equipment, including coordination with service providers.
-Providing technical support to company employees, including remote assistance.
-Managing MDM, credentials, group policies, and access rights.
-Developing instructions and policies for the team and end users.
Nice to have:
-Experience with additional network equipment brands and related software.
-Certifications in network and system administration.
-Knowledge of additional languages.
