Accountant – Retail & F&B

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as an Accountant.
Responsibilities:

• Accounting for purchases and write-offs of raw materials, production, movement of finished goods, and retail sales.
• Monitoring cash transactions and reconciling revenue with data from the POS system, accounting records, and bank statements.
• Accounting for expenses, settlements with suppliers, and reconciliation of inventory balances based on stocktaking results.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Payroll calculation and preparation and submission of payroll and social contribution reports.
• Reviewing accounting records and primary documents, identifying and correcting errors.
• Conducting internal checks and supporting external audits: preparing documents and reconciliations and responding to auditors’ requests.
• Communicating with the Tax Department, Social Insurance Services, and other government authorities when required.
• Preparing any additional information requested by managers or the Chief Accountant.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar accounting role is preferred.
• Strong multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Russian at B2 level or higher.
• Eligibility to work in Cyprus.
