Accountant

PUNIN WINE is a leading alcohol distributor in Cyprus and the most popular wine boutique in Limassol, operating since 2012.We are looking for an experienced Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with Cyprus tax legislation, and cooperation with auditors and government authorities.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of all tax returns, including VAT, in accordance with Cyprus legislation
• Calculation, review, and timely submission of corporate tax reports
• Liaising with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies
• Preparation and analysis of profit and loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports
• Oversight of all financial processes: budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting
• Development and implementation of internal financial controls
• Ensuring compliance with international and local accounting standards
• Maintaining complete and accurate financial records
• Optimizing financial processes and improving accounting efficiency

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation and financial reporting standards
• Experience working with auditors and tax authorities
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in English and Russian
• Experience in distribution or FMCG will be an advantage
