The French restaurant Le Frenchie by PUNIN was included in the TOP of the world’s restaurants according to WINE SPECTATOR 2024 in the Award of Excellence nomination
The wine menu of Le Frenchie by PUNIN has received an international Wine Spectator award and worldwide recognition from experts. It is a unique place in Cyprus where you will be offered the best combination of wines with French haute cuisine.
Le Frenchie by PUNIN is a small corner of France in the heart of the old town of Limassol in Cyprus. The restaurant has long been recognized for its French cuisine and its chef’s modern take on dishes, the atmosphere of a traditional Parisian bistro, and its prime location. In the 2023-24 season, the restaurant underwent a renovation as it was reopened in a new concept within the PUNIN GROUP companies.
Dmitry Punin, founder of PUNIN GROUP, which includes the restaurant Le Frenchie by PUNIN, comments:

The restaurant has only recently opened under our management, but our perennial customers have already appreciated our improvements in quality and service. Our chef has developed a new menu, significantly rethinking old dishes. Now, we are happy to offer you a brand-new menu of haute French cuisine. Sommeliers of the project have completely worked out the wine list: they added both rare and famous houses, including blue chips, and more accessible positions, introduced strong alcohol, our own distillates, as well as author’s cocktails and teas. The design of the restaurant has changed completely, it has become more up-to-date and more restrained. The award is designed to improve wine selection and food pairings by monitoring service levels around the world, and to encourage programs that complement the diversity of cuisine, restaurant design and pricing. Each wine list submitted is reviewed by a panel of judges for quality of selection, breadth and depth, value and presentation.
